Where will I live?

An important part of the Tū Kahika programme is the support provided to you while you are studying.

All Tū Kahika students are guaranteed accommodation in a University of Otago Residential College at either Stuholme or Arana. Both colleges are located within walking distance of the campus and each has its own unique culture, extra tutorials and fantastic food!

They share the core value of providing fully-supervised, quality, and safe accommodation and provide you the opportunity to make friends with other first year students from all over the country.

The Tū Kahika programme award includes provision of $4,000 to cover some of your accommodation costs. Students are expected to make a further contribution to cover the full cost of accommodation fees. The Residential College costs are available on their websites.
