(PhD) Doctor of Philosophy

A PhD from the Division of Health Sciences is a great career move as our degrees are recognised around the world for their excellence.

What is a PhD?

You can request a Postgraduate Information Pack including a Postgraduate Prospectus, scholarship information and a copy of He Kitenga.

Enrolling:

1. Find a supervisor and a department

Decide upon your area of research interest or potential research topic. Start by browsing School and Departmental websites and by considering the research interests and expertise of academic staff: Staff Expertise Database.

Contact the relevant department to discuss your programme.

2. Scholarships and awards

Search for scholarships

3. Apply for admission to the PhD programme

Fill out the appropriate forms found here.

Domestic students

(Includes Australian citizens and permanent residents)
Your application will be considered by the PhD Advisory Committee.

If you are accepted for admission to the PhD programme then your application form will be sent to the PhD Office for enrollment.

International students

There are separate forms and processes for you to follow.
